BOOK MAKING WORKSHOP
It was a creative workshop which was an outcome of the exhibition 'That State of Arrival' with Sarojini Lewis & fellow participants at GB pant. A curatorial Intervention , based on Museum Collection of Kahe Gail Bidesh Gallery at G. B Pant Institute of Social Sciences, Allahabad with a collection of objects and archives based on history of indentured labourers from Bihar. I was invited by the curator to respond to the collection through my practice.
DOLL MAKING & PAINTING
The doll-making and painting workshop invites children to explore the joy of creating with what surrounds them, found and collected materials from their everyday lives. Old fabric scraps, twigs, buttons, bits of paper, and discarded household items to be transformed into lively dolls and imaginative characters.
